Your website, included

Your website should take bookings, not messages.

Most studio websites are a brochure with a phone number — classes listed, no way to register; membership described, no way to join. Every Claybench studio gets a complete website where all of it is live: booking, membership, the shop, hours, the kiln room in photos. On your own domain, included in your plan.

Point your domain at it and cancel the website bill.

A studio's Claybench website: branded front page with upcoming classes, live seat counts, hours and directions
The same site's Classes page — students book and pay online

What’s on it

A whole studio website, assembled from what you already run.

There’s no page builder and nothing to lay out. Fill in your studio’s details and the site assembles itself — each section appears when there’s something real behind it, and every edit is live in seconds.

A front door

Your name, your story, your brand color, a cover photo — and site navigation that only shows what you've turned on.

Classes people can book

Your real schedule with live seat counts and online payment. A student registers at 9pm; you find out at breakfast.

Membership people can join

Plans and class passes with checkout built in — recurring billing included, not described in a paragraph next to a phone number.

A shop

The work you're already tracking in the studio becomes listings. Sales run at 0% platform fee on your own traffic.

Visit page

Hours, address with a map link, phone, email, Instagram. The page every student looks for and most studio sites bury.

A gallery

The wheel room, the kiln, work on the shelves — the atmosphere that makes someone pick your studio over the other one.

The math

One bill replaces two — and the new one works harder.

The move

Five steps, one afternoon, nothing breaks.

  1. 01

    Claim your studio's page

Pick your web address, write the About, set your brand color. Ten minutes, and claybench.app/your-studio is live.

  2. 02

    Fill in the real content

Hours and address light up the Visit page. Photos build the gallery. Your classes, membership plans, and shop are already there — they're just your studio, published.

  3. 03

    Connect your domain

One DNS record. The connect screen detects where your DNS lives (Squarespace, GoDaddy, Cloudflare…) and shows the exact record to add — certificates are issued automatically.

  4. 04

    Your email doesn't move

Only the website record changes. Your MX records — the ones that carry your email — stay exactly where they are. Nothing about your inbox changes.

  5. 05

    Cancel the website bill

Once your domain is serving the new site (search engines are pointed at it automatically), the old builder subscription has nothing left to do.

Honest answers

No fine print.

What happens to my email?

Nothing. Connecting your domain changes one website record (CNAME or A). Email lives on MX records, which you don't touch. If your email is through Google Workspace or your registrar, it keeps working exactly as before.

Can I customize the design?

You control your name, brand color, cover image, photos, and every word of content — not the layout. That's deliberate: the sections are designed and mobile-ready so you never do layout work. If you want a fully bespoke site, keep it and link to your Claybench pages for booking instead.

Do I lose my Google ranking?

The move is built to keep it: your pages carry canonical tags on your domain, a sitemap is generated for it, and local-business markup (hours, address) is embedded automatically. Search engines see one site, on your domain.

Which plan do I need?

The claybench.app/your-studio site comes with every plan, free tier included. Bringing your own domain is part of the Studio plan ($49/mo) — the plan built for studios that teach and have members.

Your studio deserves a website that works as hard as you do.

Claim your handle, fill in the About and your hours, and you have a site that can register a student at 9pm on a Sunday. Point your domain at it whenever you’re ready.
